Используется для защиты питания файловых серверов и АТС, а также любого другого оборудования, предъявляющего повышенные требования к качеству сетевого электропитания. Принцип работы состоит в двойном преобразовании (double conversion) тока. Сначала входное переменное напряжение преобразуется в постоянное, затем обратно в переменное напряжение с помощью обратного преобразователя (инвертора). При потере питания в городской сети, время переключения в автономный режим равно нулю.

Дополнительная батарея для источника бесперебойного питания позволяет увеличить время автономной работы ИБП, кроме того, использование дополнительных батарей особенно необходимо, если в вашей электрической сети возможны длительные перебои, в то время как подключенные устройства не могут оставаться без питания. Герметичный свинцово-кислотный батарейный блок имеет встроенное зарядное устройство. Возможна горячая замена батареи. Заряжается блок в течение 8 часов, и может служить как для домашнего использования, так и для профессионального.
